Colin Spaull has been a stalwart of stage and screen for decades.
His performances in 'Morse', 'The Last Detective', 'The Inbetweeners', 'Doctors', 'Holby City', 'Eastenders', 'Casualty' and 'The Brittas Empire' were legendary and he's one of only a select few actors who can boast of appearing in both classic and new episodes of Doctor Who.
We're very pleased to announce that Colin will be joining our ranks as a Fantastic author shortly when we publish his autobiography.
Colin will be available for autographs, selfies and is always happy to chat with his fans.
Welcome to the party Colin!
Led by author, technology journalist and lifelong gamer Kate Russell, the Hammers of Slough are much more than an in-game group of friends from around the world.
Hammers of Slough Sunday is a weekly online gaming party which has ran for years and features regular Hammers Nats Wright (an extremely talented photographer), Bubble (the mastermind behind the brand new Galaxy Crash game), Sarah Johnson (sim racer and 3D Printer extraordinaire) and the incredible Pleijpe (a Dutch madman of the highest order) to name but a handful of this large and growing group.
Our CEO Dan is a proud member and was lucky enough to join the Hammers for a real life pilgrimage to where the Hammers sprang into existence, right outside the local Greggs bakery.
Many a celebratory sausage roll was consumed.
Though their involvement is always mysterious and usually accompanied by a kazoo chorus, all we can tell you is there will be Hammers of Slough in attendance. They came last year and this year they will return and, much like the sand people, in greater numbers. If you're a fan of a Jammie Dodger biscuit, we'd suggest getting in quick before the Hammers consume them all. Last year's stock lasted about 8 minutes!
It's not many bookstores that can boast International award winning crime writers among their number but Penny Grubb is just that!A prolific crime writer and author of academic textbooks, Penny will be joining us again and is always happy to sign copies of her books from her permanent post behind the Fantastic Books Store!

Sue is a shy but prolific author and this will be possibly the only chance to meet her in person in 2019.
Copies of both of Sue's works will be available at the Fantastic Books Store!
